Exorcising the fun out of blogging
The NGO I am volunteering for is coming out with an ad this weekend as a means to rally support for our cause. According to those privy to this advertising coup, the execution of the series of ads is just beautiful. Anticipating the influx of interest that will be generated by these ads, we are beginning, rather belatedly, to jumpstart our long-dormant cyberspace presence.
I am currently in the middle of creating a new website by way of WordPress. And for the life of me, I just couldn't get the darn thing to work the way I want it to. The themes are too artsy for comfort, the widgets don't follow the order I goad them into... argh. I only chose WordPress for its facility to have Pages, something that Blogger doesn't have. Or does it?
Hayayayay.
As a certified blogging addict who tweaks his blog almost everyday, WordPress has me in a straightjacket. I can hardly navigate through the system. I know, it may just be the familiarity of almost a year's blogging in Blogger that knocks out the "competition" but I distinctly remember that I didn't have THIS much anxiety when I began this current blog.
Hayayayayayayay.
And it doesn't help that I HAVE to have this WP website up and running before the dailies hit the newsstands by Sunday...
Fun has left the blogging building.
PS- Any WP gurus out there... help?

I've been blogging at blogger for almost a year now. A few months ago I tried WP. It didn't work for me. The pages feature wasn't worth it if you can't do much with the page anyway. So I abandoned it and stuck to Blogger =)
Experts say that WP is better, but for us noobs, Blogger is still King in the sphere =)
(I thought I had posted this comment already. Probably didn't make it to the cut-off time hehehe)
i'm learning the hard way harharhar i'm somehow getting the hang of it; hopefully it'll suffice until The Real Webmasters can take over from your fellow newbie. Wis me lak!
